Is CrossFit for you?
If you’re reading this I guess the question that may proceed this one is
‘What is CrossFit?’
It’s pretty straightforward really…CrossFit is a fitness program suitable for everyone that produces measurable outcomes through lifestyle changes, centered on training and nutrition. Workouts consist of constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements, and are fun and effective because you’ll be among friends at a local CrossFit gym.
Who can do CrossFit?
Basically anyone! In our specialist classes we have children from 7 years old in our Athletic Development sessions right up to our Legends class that caters for older adults well into their 70’s.
Many people in the general classes (but definitely not all!) have or have had some kind of athletic or team based interest such as rugby, hockey, MMA, triathlons, running, obstacle course racing, swimming, football and we’ve even had someone who competes in competitive tug of war events!
Many are also regular gym goers (past and present), who have tired of the same old routine they see and are bored of exercise to music classes. The things these members have in common is their ability to work hard, their desire to change up their training, a recognition that they need accountability to stay focused and their want to train alongside likeminded people, somewhere they can find their tribe.
