I’m a big CrossFit fan and as time goes by I love it more and more for the sheer diversity of the sport! The varied nature of the training and endless challenges it brings has never ceased to amaze me over the years.

These days you’re more likely to find me training within a class rather than coaching it! This past year has seen me moving away from coaching classes and working more behind the scenes to move the business forward.

When I’m not in the gym I’m usually with my husband and children walking our dogs, riding my bike or on our family small-holding looking after a variety of animals. There’s rarely a dull moment and life is pretty full and very rewarding!

I’ve been trying to lift heavy things for quite a lot of years now and still enjoy it but I also enjoy the variety and the challenge that CrossFit brings. There are lots of things that push me out of my comfort zone and I love that!

When I’m not in the gym I’m generally out walking my dog or playing with my boys. I’m also doing my best to hold back the hands of time and play rugby on a Saturday while my body holds up .

If I’m not doing one of those things I’m probably eating some nice food or spending some time with my wife.

I enjoy gymnastics most when it comes to CrossFit but love to lift too!

When I’m not in the gym I’m normally doing anything active! Climbing, skateboarding, surfing, walking and eating lots!

Crossfit Level 2 Trainer, PT Level 3, Precision Nutrition level 1, Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy

After training in many different sports, Crossfit stood out through the immediate community feeling. I really enjoy the constant challenge of learning and developing skills and sharing the grind of tough workouts.

I particularly enjoy barbell movements, especially the Overhead squat, and developing technical gymnastics skills. I am not usually pleased to see burpees, wall balls, or running in a workout.

When I’m not in the gym I enjoy walking, outdoor swimming, and running games of Dungeons and Dragons as a DM at our local gaming shop.

My Favourite thing about CrossFit is the variety of it. It's different every day and there's constantly something that drives you to keep training as there are so many areas to improve on. I also love that it's made me learn new skills that are great to show off!

When I’m not in the gym you'll find me training Jiu-Jitsu or watching TV. When I'm not training, I enjoy putting my feet up.

Qualifications:
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

My favourite thing about CrossFit is everything!  I enjoy the multiple ways of training and workouts you can do. I like getting together with friends I have made at the box and having some friendly competition. I find it a great way to get rid of stress as well, if I've had a bad day I'm always better after a good workout.

When not in the gym I like dog walking and I'm also a bit of a telly addict, especially Netflix and Amazon.

Level 2 Fitness Instructing

Level 3 Personal Training

My favourite thing about CrossFit is the community, my own training is competitive Bodybuilding and this can be quite an isolating sport at times. I love coming to CrossFit to train in a team environment, it feels like a big family with a bit of friendly competition to keep driving you on.

The constant variety and learning new skills keeps training fresh and fun.

When I’m not in the gym I love the work that I do with horses and am always active.

My favourite thing about CrossFit is definitely the combination of community and what I love doing which is lifting weights and constantly challenging my body. I love working towards PBs in a one-rep max in particular so I’d definitely say weightlifting is my favourite.

When I’m not in the gym I love performing as a country singer/songwriter all around the UK and soon to be Europe as well as riding motorbikes, skateboarding and being with friends and family.

I love training and seeing what my body can do. I know as I get older I want to stay as strong and mobile as I can, healthy and happy to be able to do anything I want to do in life. Right now I’m also appreciating what I can do before I take my body through pregnancy and what I will be able to do in recovery from that. It’s fascinating but I’m determined to enjoy the journey of the amazing things we can do.

When I'm not in the gym I LOVE being outside- although I don't get to do it nearly as much but I love crafty things and reading (again I need to make time for this).
The seaside is my happy place, being in the fresh air, my not so secret passion is dogs- I blooming love ALL of them I’m a little obsessed but they make me happy!
